They have advised, operated, and led major transformation programs for some of the most influential corporations around the world. Our team's experience in efficiently enabling the CEO agenda and quickly resolving tactical issues allows us to create a true and aligned partnership. Our Business is the Success of the CEO  Our Management Team Mr. Rene Larrave is the Founder and President of Calatestra Partners. In this capacity, Mr. Larrave is responsible for the overall definition and implementation of the firm's strategy. His primary responsibility is to ensure that the firm's mission is carried out and delivered as planned - every time. Mr. Larrave has more than 20 years of management consulting and executive management experience in areas that include business strategy, operations and information technology in a variety of industries, including financial services, utilities, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, hospitality and high tech. As an entrepreneur, he has also successfully started, operated, and sold a number of businesses. Before starting Calatestra Partners, Mr. Larrave was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Avvantica, a regional business process outsourcing company that was sold in 2007. Prior to Avvantica, he was also the founder and President of Tactica, a business and technology consulting company that was acquired by Hitachi Consulting in 2001. Mr. Larrave led the company's aggressive growth to become a national player with offices in Dallas, Chicago, Mexico City, Denver, and Kansas City. Prior to starting his own companies, Mr. Larrave served as a management team member with Booz, Allen & Hamilton in both its London and Dallas offices and with Deloitte Consulting in Dallas. He has held teaching positions in business, computer science, and electrical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and at Monterrey Tech. Mr. Larrave holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Monterrey Tech and Ohio State University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a certified management consultant, a current or past member of the Young Entrepreneurs' Organization (YEO), the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and the World Presidents' Organization (WPO) and he serves on a number of for profit and non-profit boards and advisory boards. He is also an active investor in a number of start-up and later-stage technology companies. |
